Invest in ideas

What’s the big idea?

Cuckoo Design has launched a new initiative that celebrates the North West’s entrepreneurial and innovative spirit by ensuring exciting new ideas developed in the region get the creative support they deserve.

We’re inviting individuals, groups and businesses of all sizes who have a project, idea or venture in need of some creative pixie dust to contact us. Each month, we’ll select one of these projects and give it our creative investment. That means our considerable design, marketing and internet expertise will be available to help get it off the ground.

The nuts and bolts

So how will this work? Simply, prospective candidates for the initiative get in touch with Steve Wheatley on 0161 839 9337 or email steve@cuckoodesign.com with details of their idea, project or venture. We’ll consider all the submissions each month and select our favourite. If you’re lucky enough to be selected, we’ll meet with you to develop a brief that supports your idea using all the tools available to us, whether it’s PR, design, the internet or any other of the media’s many strands. We’ll agree with you the scope of work upfront and the amount of effort we can donate to help launch your idea in the most effective way possible.

Why we’re Cuckoo about new ideas

We’re crazy about innovation. But we also want to put business ethics at the top of the agenda helping fellow innovators in our region. There is a risk that many of the North West’s best ideas can stay in the shadows because developers don’t know the best way to get them in the public eye or don’t have the resources to make it happen. We want to put our money where our mouth is and provide a creative catalyst early in the development process that establishes a solid foundation from which the project can really take off.

And the winners are...
